Join us for a round one of these Sundays!
We are a diverse organization of recreational players in the San Francisco Bay Area (handicaps generally ranging from 5 to 54) who gather for golf on Sunday mornings at Sharp Park in Pacifica, California. Our club was incorporated in 1955, and has been running ever since!
Our regular tee-time is on Sunday at 9 a.m. PT, and members and their guests are required to sign in by 8:30 a.m. at the table inside the Sharp Park clubhouse. Some weeks, we start late due to other course events.
Green fees are $42 to walk. The weekly game is another $5 + 25 cents to enter the chip-in pool.
Every month, we have at least one Special or Fun tournament (usually with a theme or fun game) and one Low-Net tournament. Our two majors are the Match Play Championship in June and the Club Championship in October. If you'd like to try us out one Sunday, contact us and we'll fit you in.
We were also listed as one of the country's happiest golf courses in 2015!

How's your pace of play?
![]() Here are three tips to put in play on regular Sunday play days.
1. Exchange scorecards at the first tee so that each player is officially keeping only ONE score plus her own. If you have a foursome, just swap with one other player, who will keep your score while you keep hers. (Of course you should also write down your own scores.) 2. Be ready to putt when it is your turn. Study your line when you arrive to the green and mark your ball, or while others are putting. When it's your turn, you should not have to walk all about the green. 3. If you are in a foursome, encourage two players to putt and go to the next tee while the remaining two players putt and replace the flagstick. The early arrivals can tee off while the other two are finishing. If each of these strategies saves your foursome one minute per hole, you have just shaved 54 MINUTES off your pace of play. All the more time to enjoy the 19th hole! Always remember, keep pace with the group in front of you. |

FYI: New Rules of Golf took effect January 1, 2019. They have been crafted to speed up the game and generally play to your advantage so be sure get familiar with them as soon as you can.
